A degree in nuclear engineering built my grounding in mathematics, physical systems and careful analytical thinking. It is an unusual starting point for a data engineer—and a useful one.

I moved deeper into predictive analytics, machine learning and the business questions behind the models. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received the Outstanding MS in Business Analytics Student Award and Dean’s Award.
January 2022 — December 2023Data Engineer Intern · Alter Domus
My entry into financial data engineering: building and testing dbt models, writing validation SQL, and working with Python pipelines, Airflow on AWS MWAA and Airbyte connectors.
March 2024 — June 2025Associate Data Engineer · Alter Domus
I took on end-to-end ETL and ELT delivery, ingestion from multiple source systems, transformation models and CI/CD. The work connected platform engineering with the needs of analysts and business stakeholders.
June 2025 — March 2026Data Engineer I · Alter Domus
Today I build and improve financial data pipelines across AWS, Databricks, dbt and Airflow. I use Claude Code, Amazon Q, Databricks Genie and MCP tooling for exploration and development, alongside code review, tests and engineering judgment.
